Limestones
The Moleanos Mixed is a limestone that presents a mix of beige and grey colours, with fine to medium grain and a fairly uniform structure. It presents several signs of fossils throughout its surface. The main variations of this limestone depend mostly on colour distribution, as well as grain uniformity.
This limestone is a direct variation of the famous Moleanos Classic limestone, with extraction of blocks being done at the same quarries as Moleanos Classic. This is considered as the commercial / less expensive choice of the Moleanos Blue limestone.
Compression strenght: 1550 Kg/cm2; Bending strenght: 141 Kg/cm2; Porosity: 1,7%; Water absorption: 3.1%
The Moleanos Mixed is a fairly popular choice for both interior and exterior flooring applications. Like the Moleanos Blue, it has considerable demand from markets like the UK, where it is very appreciated on such applications. This is a limestone that is commonly used on cladding, interior flooring and diverse stonework.
